Drove out here from Edmonton to do a snowboarding photo shoot for a friend. It's a nice quiet hill away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. While it's not exactly a big ski hill, it's nice that it's quiet with few other people around, unlike the city ones where you constantly have to worry about colliding with the hundred or so other people on the hill. Facilities are average, nothing fancy, but not run down either. Hill has a t-bar and a rope lift to pull you to the top. Staff are friendly and helpful. The big thing is the price. Definitely worth the drive out here for a cheap day of fun for the family. The private lessons are extremely low priced at less than half the price of group lessons at one of Edmonton's hills. Keep in mind all ski instructors are trained and certified by the same people (CSIA), so you are getting the same quality lessons at a fraction of the price ($20 per hour here compared to about $80 in Edmonton). I regretting not being able to get out on the slopes the weekend I was working so I am headed back here this weekend to really give it a go. Just remember they are only open weekends and holidays due to it's remote location and smaller size. Well worth it though.

It's an OK hill just for the fact that they did not make enough snow yet this year
